Hardwood Firewood for sale
Firewood loads are a mix of oak, ash and other species of birch, maple and holly. We offer both seasoned and green firewood.
Our seasoned logs are ready to put straight on the fire to keep you toasty right away.
Prices are :
£225 for a full transit tipper load
£120 for a half load.
Logs can also be bought unseasoned. This is a much cheaper way to fill your log store but you will need to wait for a year or so before they are ready to burn.
Prices: £165 for a full unseasoned load
£85 for a half load.
Coppice Products
I provide a range of sustainable coppice products, ideal for gardeners.
Coppicing is a traditional woodland management technique. Trees and shrubs are cut down close to the ground so they regrow with multiple small shoots, which are then allowed to grow for a certain number of years depending on the species or intended use.
The technique develops the root system of plants, helping them live for hundreds (if not thousands) of years, as well as creating a fantastic habitat and diverse, healthy woodland.
The hazel in Westonbirt Arboretum is coppiced on a seven-year cycle, which produces rods of the most useful size. They make the perfect beanpoles and pea sticks for growing your veggies, great stakes for laying a hedge, or can be split in half and woven into wattle hurdles for a traditional screen or fence.
